There are different levels of funding that some of our sources are open for.
First Half in. (50%)
We have funders that if you have the first half of the budget in the bank or
Letters of Invent (LOI) with Proof of Funds (POF) or LOI's with letters of
Credit (LOC) and above $1,000,000 then they should be able to get you the
second half. Your projects proceeds will most likely be 50/50
First Quarter in. (1/4)
We have funders that if you have the first 1/4 of the budget in the bank or
Letters of Invent (LOI) with Proof of Funds (POF) or LOI's with letters of
Credit (LOC) and above $1,000,000 then they should be able to get you the
second half. Your projects proceeds will most likely be 25/75
For this we will need:
1. Script
2. Budget
3. Executive summary
4. Min 18% cash equity.
Once we have those we get deal memo and contract with the broker.
We have associates who also raises non equity funding (senior, mezz,
bridge, cashlflowed collateralized
pre sales and monetized tax credits) which may amount to up to 70 percent of
an indie film's budget.
Other possibilities are if a bankable company or individual puts up a
LOC, there a programs that we can use that LOC to get the funding. In some
cases the LOC is used as direct collateral and in other cases it is just
held until the film is made and sold.
We have a few direct equity investor that can either put up the full
amount or or partial funds.
