RE: PARTICIPATION
IN “FROM THE HEART” IN MEMORY OF WILLIE HUTCH” SPONSORSHIP and TICKETS
Thank for your
time and consideration in participating in our very special event, “From
The Heart” In Memory of Willie Hutch a Tribute to The Man, The Music &
The Art” celebration that is being held during “Grammy Week” on February
8, 2007, 6:00 PM at The Biltmore Hotel, Los Angeles, California.
Mr. Willie Hutch
was a true icon whose life’s work was dedicated to the success of the
music and film industry in immeasurable ways. He was responsible for
contributing to and/or developing many notable artists’ careers by way
of musical direction or production and has contributed to shaping “The
Standard” for what performers today strive to become. Willie has touched
many artists of whom we know as today’s most soulful legends, The
Jackson 5, Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Lionel
Richie, The Commodores, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson,
Diana, Four Tops, Aretha Franklin, and the list
goes on! In the motion picture industry he was responsible for the
soundtracks of Foxy Brown, The Mack Is Back, The Mark of the Beast,
Color Her Sunshine, and more recent, Hustle and Flow.
Willie Hutch has worked with the legendary music producers; Berry
Gordy, Quincy Jones. He was a versatile and instrumental
figure during Motown’s “golden years”. Today his work has been
sampled by Notorious B.I.G, Lil’ Kim, Mariah
Carey, Jaheim, and Moby. Mr. Hutch has earned the
respect of many of his peers and has made a lasting impression in the
entertainment arts world.
We invite you
along with Willie Hutch’s family and friends to join us for this
extraordinary evening that will highlight and pay tribute to Willie
Hutch’s outstanding achievements, and an opportunity to benefit and
support two of the finest charities in the arts of music, television,
and motion pictures; Booker T. Washington High School & The
Arts Magnet Program (whose alumni’s were the gifted Willie Hutch,
Erica Badu, and Nora Jones) has won acclaim for its
comprehensive study in dance, theatre, music, and the visual arts
throughout the country, and The American Society of Young Musicians,
a nationwide 501 © non-profit organization that is comprised of
individuals in the Music and Entertainment Industry, as well as various
advocates of the industry committed to the enrichment and advancement of
young musicians.
It will be a
heartfelt evening with luminary executives from various industries,
celebrity tributes, and performances inspired by Willie Hutch and his
Art! It is our desire to have you
included in this exclusive and very grand occasion by way of sponsorship
and/or attendance. Please take a moment to consider the levels of
participation that is most convenient for you. We look forward to
hearing from you soon and hope that
you
can be a part of this memorable event.
“From The
Heart” his music lives on.
Kindest regards,
Fred M Davis
